Compiled EXE path

Hi,

When I compile my project using the "Compile EXE" option from the menu, I can choose the path where I want the EXE put, and FireFly honours that, even if I subsequently use the "Build and Execute" option instead. However, if I close and reopen FireFly, and use the "Build and Execute" option, it goes back to putting the EXE with the generated source code. This happens whether I save the project or not and, since there isn't an "Execute without compiling" option, it means I have to "Compile EXE" to set the path, then "Compile and Execute" (or find it in Explorer etc.) every time I open the project.

Is there any way to keep the EXE path as I set it? If not, can this be added to the wishlist, please?

Thanks.

Pete.

Thanks Peter, I'll have to put that one on the wish list.

This is now implemented and will be in the general Version 1.11 release. The information is now stored in the Project XML file under a node called "compilefilename".

Thanks
