FireFly Update 1.6 no run

I have unloaded the updater, and I have installed it in my PC.
The program does not run. I am using Windows XP. When proving it
in Windows 98, an error message is generated, the program has
carried out one operation not admitted and it is closed.  I have
returned to recover version 1.5, and I do not have problems. Help me.
