FF crashes

I got very frustrated with versions 3.0 to 3.4 because of so many bugs, so I went back to 2.99.  Now that 3.05 was officially released, I tried it and it is much better.  However, I will occasionally experience a total crash when trying to compile.  It happens rarely but when it does, it crashes several times in a row before it starts to work properly.  And sometimes before it works without crashing it will display a syntax error message that is bogus.  Then it works fine for quite some time.  It is so random that it is impossible to predict when it will happen.  I noticed that others reported similar problems.
