That is just Mr. Zale.
I try hard to ignore any comments made by him.
If I took his words personally I would have quit PB in the Dos days.
He is MUCH, MUCH improved now over the old Compuserve days.
Just keep reminding your self PowerBASIC IS the BEST Windows compiler for the price in the market today !

Unfortunately, like his compilers, he thinks in assembly where everything is 1's and 0's.  You are either with him or against him and he is #1 while we are zeros.  If the compilers weren't great I wouldn't even visit the forum.  I didn't even order 10 yet and it probably has the most things I've requested over the years compared to other versions. I'll probably get it eventually since most of the new features I've been waiting for for 8 years...not just the few extra months it took to get here.  I've got enough things to get me by for now though.

I can't seem to locate the PB10 news.

I think that's because Jim has changed the topic and content of this thread on a daily basis, until yesterday. What's kind of interesting is that this seems to happen on various third-party forums. Everyone is afraid of biting the proverbial hand that feeds, I suppose.

It's true.  I'm afraid.

Seriously though, I am.

I was going to delete the thread, but cannot.  : (

Of course, that will make people think that what you wrote was extremely inflammatory. But don't worry, all of those concerns are behind you now. In exactly 8 minutes, there will be a knock at your door. The PowerBASIC secret police know where you live, and they'll be coming with industrial magnets and a disc shredder to aid in your re-education.
