Hello,

I'm not very familiar with it, for a long time I used the well known code from Don Dickinson for MAPI within my programs if I need E-Mail functions. But it is over 10 years old and I get more and more problems, now I've the problem that if I try to append 2 files to a mail I get every time an error message and I don't know why.
Is there someone who may have another sample or code skeleton who shows how to do it over Mapi or another kind of solution? What I like to do is:

1. Open a new mail within MS Outlook as E-Mail window
2. Add the recipients, the subject and the mail body to the mail
3. Add 1 or more files, for exapmle pdf documents
4. User than can decide to modify the mail to his needs and send it normally with his outlook client.

With the old Mapi code It could not be done but I would like to know if it would also be possible to build a formatted mail with use of HTML Code for example?
Many thanks in advance,

Dietmar

I haven't used MAPI functions. Maybe you can get some better pointers by looking at a couple of posts over on Jose's forum:
