Give label hyperlink behaviour

I have a need to make a label appear like a hyperlink (i.e. highlighted on hover). So I searched the forum, and came across this:

The code there works great, but this piqued my curiosity (mentioned in the thread by Paul):

FireFly 3 has a dedicated label/link type of custom control so this sort of thing will be very easy to do.

I can't seem to find this custom control in FF3... was it removed, or did it ever exist?
