Listview Gridlines when using mousewheel.

I looked at the following topic:

I use Win7 but at work we are still on XP 
In Win7 the Listview gridlines work smooth when using the mousewheel, but back on XP the gridlines dissapear or go all over the place. Is this just something the XP users must get used too or is there someway to make it smooth on XP like on Win7?

It is a bug in XP that M$ only has bothered to fix in Vista/Windows 7.

I think that the bug was only present in version 6 of the Common Controls. If you remove the manifest, your program will use version 5.
