Controls are resized/rearranged on reopening project FireFly (restarted before)

Hello,

I use Windows 8 64-Bit and FireFly 3.61. I can draw the the controls correctly. When I paste controls they don't have the same size as the original. but the biggest Problem is, that the controls are rearranged and sized when I restart FireFly and opened the project.

Please let me know, when I give you more input

Hello, I have made screenshots to show you my problem:

I simply added a new Textbox to a Form:


The I closed the project and reopend it:


I've tried to run as administrator and to set the compatibility level - but without a better result.

This makes FireFly designer not usable for me under windows 8 because it is not only for new projects.

I seem to remember a similar problem that Dan English had. Check out this thread: http://www.planetsquires.com/protect/forum/index.php?topic=3188.0  Make sure that you are using the most up to date version of Jose's include files.

Please let me know if this fixes the problem.

I installed WinAPI_III_104. I think it is the latest. But I'm sorry the problem isn't fixed

Hello,

I found a possible workaround. I have to set the Windows XP SP3 compatibility mode. Didn't use that mode because I did run well under my Windows 7 (old defect laptop).

The the controls are placed well and the problem is gone.

Looks like I need to buy Windows 8 and find a computer to install it on.
