Floating Selection Box
« on: September 17, 2017, 02:29:07 PM »

Hi All

I have a few Textboxes on a form, one is for the client Surname & initials.
I want to try and create a "floating" phone number suggestion where it looks for regular customers with that surname while you type and give you a suggestions list of cellular numbers.
Some items from Customs(Border security) carries cellular numbers, but many does not. Having a "regular client" pop-up that can make suggestion and you could select from may be much faster than an additional "lookup" function.

The suggestion part is not that hard, but how would you make such a "floating" suggestion box with a list of clients in it?
Or how would anyone suggest may be more practical?

E-commerce is growing exponentially and once again we are still on manual record keeping. LOL, not so progressive!

Hi Petrus,
Have you checked the Powerbasic floating toolbar example?
